| EST. 1971: We opened our 1st (detailing) operation in Madison WI. Detailing was refereed to as auto reconditioning or portering. I never did, get the reference to portering. By 1974: Due to the large volume of detailing we where performing, we decided to branch out, with more detail shops, & became detail product distributors, with various major detail manufactures. Back in the day, most product used to detail a vehicle, was a janitorial product, and they would simply re - name it, and sell it, as a detailing product. Floor waxes, were used to dress vinyl tops, kerosene to clean motors, & remove cosmo-line. Crazy days, more crazy detailing products. Butter Polishes, Space Age Polishes - Paint Sealants - Rust Proofing Craze - It Never Stopped. 1977-1981: We conducted research and development of detailing product potential, and product usage, for 3 major detailing manufactures. (Car Brite - Hornbys - Surluster) 1981: We were ready to take the plunge into manufacturing, our own custom line of detailing products. We currently manufacture our own line of premium detailing products, in Madison Wisconsin & Reno Nevada. Developed by detailers for detailers. 1984: We began distributor routes through out 3 states. Private labeling - & distributor programs. 1985: Began detailer training programs for dealerships. 1986: Became a W.I.S.C.O. featured vendor for 500 plus dealership members,we are to this day a W.I.S.C.O. vendor. 20 plus years. Their dealership membership today, is over 600 dealerships through out WI. 1988: Began looking into the possibility of franchising our detailing operations. (Due to soaring interest rates in the 80's that wasn't going to happen.) 1996: Established a satellite facility in Reno Nevada. Specializing in manufacturing and marketing our detailing systems & premium product line. 1999: The technology is here, although we may be way ahead of the curve, but the "New Millennium" is approaching.
